The short version

This site uses advertising and analytics cookies. Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) pixel all run here, and they set their own cookies and identifiers so that visits can be measured and advertising can be targeted, including retargeting.

One exception is worth knowing about: none of them load while you are answering the airway quiz. They are held back until you finish, so no advertising or analytics company observes the questions or your answers.

What is stored in your browser

• Advertising and analytics cookies, set by Google and Meta through the tags described above. These are used for measurement, attribution and advertising audiences, and may allow those companies to recognise your browser on other sites.
• Campaign memory: when you arrive from an advertisement, a search result or a link, the site notes which one in your browser’s local storage, so a later submission can be attributed to it. It holds campaign details only, never your name, email or answers.
• Submission marker: a short-lived key in session storage that records that a submission has already been counted, so a page refresh does not count it twice.
• Sign-in session: a single cookie that keeps staff signed in to the administrative area. It is not set for ordinary visitors.

What is never in them

No cookie or identifier on this site carries your name, your email address, your phone number, your quiz answers, your score or your result tier. Those are either never stored at all, or held only in our own database, and are not passed to any advertising or analytics platform.

Third parties

Google and Meta act as independent controllers of the measurement and advertising data they collect through their tags. Their use of it is governed by their own policies, and their advertising settings pages are where you can limit personalised advertising.

Pages that show a video use an embedded player from the video host, which may set its own cookies when you press play. If you do not play the video, it is not loaded.

A practice may add its own measurement code to its pages. Where that happens it is subject to that practice’s own disclosures, and the same rule applies: it is never loaded onto the quiz while questions are being answered.

Managing what is stored

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings, and most browsers can block third-party cookies outright. Your device may also offer a system-level advertising control. Clearing or blocking any of it does not affect your ability to take the quiz, register for the webinar or book an appointment.
